Kompozitor Ltd. introduction
Kompozitor Plastics Development Ltd. was established in 1991. One of the founders of our company is Géza Kecskeméthy, an award-winning mechanical engineer, who has more than 70 inventions and patents to his name. Previously, the founding professionals worked together in the state-owned Plastic Research Institute where they conducted high-level plastic industry development researches. Since the founding of the company, the main activity of our company has been the development and production of high-strength fiberglass-reinforced synthetic resin (composite) products. Our company continuously creates new ones by further development of composite plastics.
The seat of Kompozitor Kft. is located in Vecsés, Hungary. Since 2008, the self-owned, modern, 3,000 m2 plant has housed the development and production of various composite-based products. Its operation is regulated and certified by the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental management systems. Currently, nearly fifty employees work at the company and carry out technical development and production activities with high added value.
Kompozitor Kft. developed several products based on synthetic resin and composite technology that were unique in the given market segment.
KOMPANEL
Fire- and heat-resistant wood-core panels, which are primarily used by the vehicle industry and the construction industry as covering elements for floors, partitions and doors.
HONEYKOMP
High-strength, light-weight composite sheets and aluminum honeycomb non-glued fireproof sandwich panel for the vehicle and construction industry.
POLYKAMIN
High corrosion resistance, large diameter and height, self-supporting, resin-fiberglass-based industrial chimney.
THE FURANFLEX® liner family
Kompozitor’s most current product is the FURANFLEX® flexible composite synthetic resin liner system, which has been installed in 36 countries around the world in a length of nearly 5 million meters. Thanks to its unique properties, it can be successfully used to drain the combustion products of gas and wood-burning boilers, in the ventilation systems of apartments and kitchens, restaurants, and as rainwater drains in buildings with flat roofs. Primarily, it can be used effectively for the renovation and repair of existing chimneys and ventilation shafts without demolition, in a shorter time than other technologies.

Kompozitor Kft. has won numerous professional awards. Such as the Paris National Innovation Honour or the Featured Gold Medal at the World Exhibition of Inventions in Brussels. Among the Hungarian prizes, the most prestigious ones are the Genius Europe Grand Prix and the Innovation Prize of the Hungarian Innovation Grand Prix SZTNH, won in 2017.
